Chandpole Bazaar

From Chhoti Chaupar to Chandpole Gate — marble carving, textiles and the Hanuman temple at the gate.

Chandpole Bazaar is the western arm of the main east–west street, running from Chhoti Chaupar to Chandpole Gate. It was the marble-carvers’ bazaar, and the Khazane Walon ka Rasta lane off it still has the workshops where statues, temple images and marble ware are cut from Makrana stone. The street also has textile shops and the wholesale trade that spills out of Chandpole into Shastri Nagar.

The Chandpole Hanuman temple at the gate is one of the busiest in the city, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and the gate itself opens to the Chandpole metro station and the road to Bani Park and the station.
