Raniwala 1881 takes its name from the year the family’s jewellery trade began, and it is one of the older houses of Johari Bazaar. Its work is jadau — the kundan setting of polki diamonds and coloured stones with meenakari on the back — made for weddings and for collectors.
The house has shown at international fairs and has a following among designers for its enamel work.
