Patrika Gate

The painted gate of Jawahar Circle on the airport road — the ninth gate of Jaipur, finished in 2016.

Patrika Gate was built by the Rajasthan Patrika newspaper group as the entrance to Jawahar Circle garden on JLN Marg near the airport, and opened in 2016. It is painted inside with scenes from every region of Rajasthan — the forts, the festivals, the crafts — in the style of the old havelis, and it has become one of the most photographed places in the city.

Jawahar Circle behind it is said to be the largest circular park in Asia, with a musical fountain in the evening. The gate is on the way from the airport and most visitors stop on arrival.
